Our Mission
The Miss Alternative Foundation empowers women and individuals who have survived abuse and trauma to reclaim their lives through mental, physical, and spiritual health resources. By challenging traditional beauty standards and fostering inclusive community events and pageants, we create a supportive space where survivors can find strength, confidence, and lasting growth.

The Miss Alternative Foundation. is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering women and individuals who identify as such by helping them reclaim and redefine their lives after experiencing trauma and abuse.

Under section 402 of the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law
Our vision is to build strong partnerships with corporations that would enable us to provide vocational sponsorships to our pageant contestants and back our community building program initiatives.
Additionally, we are dedicated to hosting and participating in charitable events year-round, where we can make meaningful contributions to other organizations and support those in need.
Your donation helps us organize high-quality events, pageants, and galas, while continuously raising the bar for women’s advocacy.
The Miss Alternative Buffalo Beauty Pageant is an elegant and refined event, where the top contestants, chosen through a competitive audition process, will showcase their talents, public speaking, and fashion to vie for the prestigious Black Diamond Crown.
